We are seeking candidates to join the Rumble Ponies Promotions and Fan Engagement
Team. We are the Double-A Affiliate of the New York Mets, playing at Mirabito Stadium in
Downtown Binghamton.
We are searching for talented, enthusiastic individuals to support our Marketing and
Promotions efforts with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This person will work
closely with the Promotions and Creative Services Manager, along with the Director of
Marketing & Promotions and the production crew. This position is part-time, seasonal from
April to September. This is a game day position with chances of working office hours. This
position reports to the Promotions & Creative Services Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in general game day setup including: giveaways, programs, props & sponsor tables
- Assist the Rumble Ponies in executing partnership marketing agreements
- Specialize in fan relations and on-field promotions during games
- Provide entertainment and increase fan involvement during games
- Maintain a clean and organized system for game day props and costumes
- Active participation in nightly themes including dressing up in costume
- Help decorate on the larger theme nights
- Other responsibilities related to game day operations as assigned by Rumble Ponies Front Office Staff
- Prompt crowd with hype and promotional events
Qualifications:
- Must be enthusiastic with a desire to learn through hands on experience
- Positive attitude
- Must be a team player
- Ability to be at the stadium for long hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work indecently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- An organized and detail-oriented individual
- Willingness to wear mascot costumes & other themed attire
- Desire to have FUNN!
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
