The Winston-Salem Dash is the High-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and are searching for highly motivated individuals to join our Grounds Crew.
- Reports To – Head Groundskeeper
- Expected Start Date – April 7, 2026
- Expected End Date – September 6, 2026 (possible post-season games)
- Compensation – Hourly (Rate TBD)
This position is a seasonal part-time position that will operate mostly for Dash home games, but could also include events such as High School and College baseball games, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the field for game day or events
- Paint foul lines/batter’s boxes, repairing pitcher’s mound, Homeplate, and bullpen areas, as well as assisting ingrooming infield dirt and warning track
- Assist with field tarp and weather-related situations
- Other on-field events
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in Baseball, but not required
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and nights based on schedule
