The Winston-Salem Dash are looking for part-time candidates to fill our production team for the 2026 season and other non-baseball events. Options for Game Day Production staff roles include:

Camera Operators:
Responsible for capturing live game and promotional footage for use on the ballparks videoboard and our MiLB.TV live stream from a stationary or wireless camera.
Duties Include:
• setting up and breaking down cameras, tripods, and cables
• inspecting cameras every game
• working at a fast pace while taking direction via headset

Videoboard Operators:
Responsible for content running on all digital boards and streams via Live Sync software. This highly-attentive position requires detail detail-oriented individual who can multitask while working well under pressure and taking direction. Operators must know baseball timing and prompting of the crowd.
Duties Include:
• having a clear understanding of the script and board configurations
• checking graphics pre-game
• making sure names, stats, and boards are always accurate

Replay Operators:
Responsible for cutting and playing back highlights under the pressure of time.
Duties Include:
• identifying, logging, and labeling worthy baseball moments
• fulfilling the Technical Director’s needs
• creating highlight playlists for export at the end of the game
• paying attention to the details to ensure clips are properly cut and saved.
Previous live production experience preferred 

Technical Directors:
Responsible for directing camera operators and switching between shots using a NewTek Tricaster, this highly-skilled position will control all live shots on our MiLB.TV stream and video-boards. The director must have a knowledge of cameras as they will be assisting in making the look universal for screens.
Duties Include:
• checking elements and pinpointing
areas that need attention
• multitasking
• troubleshooting technical issues that arise
Previous live production experience required

Music Operators:
Responsible for monitoring various audio inputs and outputs on our sound board in a high-pressure environment. While ensuring on-field entertainment is running smoothly.
Duties Include:
• assist in editing and uploading audio files
• testing of mics
• knowing time and placement of when to play songs and sound clips best.

Scoreboard/Statistics:
Responsible for operating the scoreboard and statistics machine to ensure the score and stats are properly updated.
Duties include:
• uploading the lineup into the system
• keeping track of the score, pitch count
• inputting plays and substituting players

Qualifications: 

  • Ability to work a majority of 2026 Dash Home games and have a general understanding of baseball.
  • Capable of standing for long periods of time, working outside, and being in a loud environment with limited breaks.
