The Hub City Spartanburgers are seeking energetic, driven, and self-starting candidates to assist in executing the gameday experience during the 2026 season! Members of the Spartanburgers Burger Bunch will play an integral role in enhancing the fan experience by finding contestants and executing in-game contests, distributing giveaways, assist in pre-game activities, and providing excellent customer service. In addition, The Burger Bunch will assist in non-gameday events such as festivals, community events, school appearances and more! This position is perfect for anyone looking to optimize their experience in the Sports Marketing and Promotions/Entertainment world.

Game Day Duties 

· Set up the promotions pregame for each game: props, prizes, waivers, etc.

· Attend promotional rundown meeting to be assigned that night’s duties.

· Assist with sponsorship activation including tabling set up, guest mascot handling, and proof of performance photos.

· In charge of executing select in-game promo contests including but not limited to finding the contestants, setting up the contest, and passing out prizes to the crowd.

· Check in first pitches and organization with on-field host. 

· Assist with pregame on-field activities such as giveaway distribution, parades, catch on the field, field of dreams, play ball kids, first pitches, performances, color guards, flag presentations, etc. 

· Assist with postgame activities on busy nights such as kids run the bases.

· Be a positive fixture at the front gates as fans enter and leave the stadium- high fives, smiles, and representing the Spartanburgers brand.

· Execute exit distributions such as coupons and survey fans while they exit the ballpark on their experience!  

. Occasionally serve as a handler for our Mascot throughout the ballpark

· Have FUN!

· Attend tabling and community events on weekends and during office hours.

· Set up tabling display with all necessary promotional materials.

· Be energetic and draw people in to speak with them about the Spartanburgers brand.

· Occasionally serve as a handler for our Mascot at outside promotional appearances.

· Conduct promotional “games” depending on the tabling display

Qualifications & Requirements

· Must be available to work most of Hub City Spartanburgers home games, as well as a flexible schedule that accommodates nights, weekends, and holidays.

· Must be available for some non-game day events. 

· Energetic, outgoing personality and positive attitude.

· Strong work ethic.

· Local candidates are preferred.

· Strong communication skills and superior customer service skills.

· Ability to be flexible in ever changing situations such as weather delays, extra innings, etc. 

· Comfortability working with fans of all ages, including children, and standing/moving for long periods of time.
