About the Hub City Spartanburgers
The Hub City Spartanburgers, a member club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH), is the newest Minor League Baseball team based in Spartanburg, SC. The team is the High- A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. 
The Hub City Spartanburgers seek Street Team Members, reporting to the Community Relations Manager, to assist event execution at off-site grassroots marketing events and activations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of activation equipment including, tables, tents, decorations, prizes, games, etc. at grassroots events in the community throughout the calendar year
  • Manage the “tent & table” activations while at all grassroots events by interacting with fans, distributing giveaways, and running on-site games and sweepstakes to help enhance events and grow team’s brand
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to execute ballpark events and special ticket package item distribution
  • Execute off-site Spartanburgers grassroots events, rallies, watch parties, mascot appearances, and other Street Team activations
  • Contribute to brainstorms and meetings to help enhance brand activations and grassroots marketing efforts
  • Positively represent and promote the Hub City Spartanburgers brand at third-party events, conventions, and festivals in the market area
  • Various event-related responsibilities as needed


Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to be covered under the company’s insurance policy
  • Must have reliable transportation, mileage paid for events outside 10 mile radius from stadium
  • College students currently pursuing a degree in Sport Marketing, Sport Management, Events & Hospitality or Marketing preferred
  • Must have flexible schedule and be able to work on nights and weekends for grassroots events
  • Work hours will vary pending on event availability and scheduling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
