Hub City Spartanburgers – Ticket Sales Intern
About the Position: The Hub City Spartanburgers, the High-A Affiliates of the Texas Rangers, are currently looking for eager, hard-working individuals to join the team for the 2026 season! Our goal is to provide real hands-on experience that can be used to land leading roles within the highly competitive professional sports industry. This paid position begins in spring 2026 and will conclude at the end of the 2026 season. 

Main Responsibilities Job Summary
As a Ticket Sales Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in sales development, prospecting, and market research while supporting the Sales team in driving revenue growth. You’ll play an active role in identifying opportunities, creating sales enablement materials, and learning the full sales cycle. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Sales Development: Assist in prospecting new customers, qualifying leads, and supporting the sales pipeline.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on target industries, accounts, and decision-makers to inform sales strategies.
  • Sales Enablement: Support the creation of presentations, proposals, and sales collateral tailored to customer needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Learn how to effectively communicate to potential clients through email, phone, and digital outreach.
  • Project Ownership: Lead a department-specific project that aligns with business goals, presenting your findings to leadership at the end of the internship.
Experience/Qualifications
•           Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in fields related to Business, Sales, and or Marketing.
•           Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn.
•           Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•           A self-starter with curiosity and persistence to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
•           Ability to work flexible and demanding hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
•           Ability to carry up to 20lbs of equipment and stand for hours at a time.
•           Preferred start date is March 10th.
