The Bat Boy/Girl position requires energetic people with a basic knowledge of baseball. The position is essential to the game, as they will be tasked with retrieving foul balls and bats and supplying the home plate umpire with new baseballs. Other pre- and post-game duties will also be assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Projects a professional appearance and manner
- Provides the service of retrieving bats and baseballs from the playing field
- Provides excellent service to the umpires, coaches, and players
- Assists with moving / cleaning equipment and setting up / breaking down dugouts / bullpens
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years old with a strong knowledge of the game of baseball.
- Strong communication skills preferred.
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Must be able to work at least 50 games, including Opening Day.
- Must be able to lift, pull, push, and/or carry 30+ pounds as necessary.
- Initiative and has a hardworking, positive attitude.
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for up to 5-6 hours.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
