The San Jose Giants are seeking experienced food and beverage VIP Servers for their premium group areas (VIP Deck/Party Patio/Futures Club) at Excite Ballpark.
As a VIP Server you will be expected to perform in the following areas:
- Provide excellent customer service while serving guests food and beverage from Turkey Mike’s BBQ
- Greet guests and customers in premium group spaces
- Distribute menus and explain menu options
- Maintain service throughout the game
- General upkeep, cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
All VIP Deck and Futures Club servers must meet certain qualifications to be eligible to serve.
Qualifications include:
- Prior restaurant and/or cash handling experience
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Availability to work a variety of hours including weekdays, weekends and most evenings.
- In accordance with California state liquor laws, servers must be 18 years of age and over.
This is a seasonal position, with the opportunity to work additional non-gameday outside events. Compensation is $19 per hour with an opportunity for gratuity.
