Job Title: Ticketing Specialist  
Main Purpose of Job: Sales  
Reports to: Box Office Manager
Hours of Work: As required, Monday – Friday, weekends during baseball season  
Contract Type/Length: Seasonal  
Salary Range: $19/hour + commission

 Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH) was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through professional management, best practices, innovation, and investment. DBH San Jose, the San Jose Giants Professional Baseball Club, is a Class A professional baseball team and have been an affiliate of the San Francisco Giants since 1988. San Jose has won eight California League Championships as a Giants affiliate (2025, 2021, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005, 2001 and 1998) and thirteen overall. Excite Ballpark, the home of the San Jose Giants, first opened in 1942 and has seen nearly 8 million fans enter through its gates.  
 
The organization is seeking a motivated and hard-working Ticketing Specialist who will be responsible for selling season and group tickets to both corporations and the general public. The candidate is responsible for prospecting new customers, qualifying leads provided to them, fulfilling specific assigned sales obligations, and developing professional relationships with season ticket clients and group leaders.  
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Selling single game tickets, mini-plans, full season, and group ticket packages 
  • Make outgoing sales calls and process incoming sales inquiries
  • Prospect and make cold calls to local companies and single-game ticket buyers to sell San Jose Giants season ticket plans and an emphasis on group ticket packages 
  • Assist with daily operations of the box office, prioritizing efficiency and customer service 
  • Report and track daily calls and sales through CRM
  • Manage printing and distribution of both season and individual game tickets 
  • Event setup and management of ticket inventory via Tickets.com 
  • Participate in community events to cultivate leads
  • Assist in other ticket sales department functions

Qualifications:  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sports Management preferred  
  • 1+ Years of customer service experience, sales experience preferred 
  • Proficiency in basic software programs (word processing, spreadsheet) and CRM management (KORE) 
  • Tickets.com experience is a plus
  • Strong time management and organizational skills 
  • Must be creative, enthusiastic and possess excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Able to work long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
