Job Title: Ticket Taker
Reports to: Box Office Manager
Contract Type: Seasonal
Salary Range: $19.00/hour
The San Jose Giants are looking for friendly and enthusiastic members to join their ticket taking/front gate attendance team. Ticket takers and front gate attendants are one of the first game day staff that fans will encounter. General duties/responsibilities may include but are not limited to: welcoming fans, scanning tickets, and assisting security with front gate attendance to control items that enter the stadium (bag check).
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting fans that come to the front gate
- Scanning of tickets
- Help security to control items that enter the premise (i.e. bag check)
- General knowledge of the San Jose Giants information
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and/or evenings
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Experience:
- Prior customer service experience is preferred
