Job Title: Scorecard Vendor and Performer
Reports to: Director, Retail Merchandise
Contract Type: Seasonal
Salary Range: $19.00/hour
As the Scorecard Vendor and Performer, the candidate will report directly to the Director, Retail Merchandise, while performing the following tasks:
Key Responsibilities:
- Being one of the first Game Day Staff which fans encounter upon entering Excite Ballpark - help to create the fun, intimate and unique fan experience that makes San Jose Giants baseball games special.
- Sell San Jose Giants scorecards and tennis balls.
- Moving around Excite Ballpark during the game interacting with fans
- Oversee pregame setup which includes product stocking and making sure money is prepared for the day.
- Handle merchandise processing of transactions and cash.
- Maintain proper storage and stocking of items.
- Supervise proper postgame breakdown, including bringing funds to the finance department.
Qualifications:
- An energetic attitude and excellent communication skills
- Strong, clear, confident voice
- Comfortable approaching and engaging with fans
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Availability to work all home games including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Experience:
- Prior customer service experience is preferred
