Position Overview:
We are seeking and expecting individuals who are friendly, efficient and strive to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests. Concession Cashiers play a key role in elevating guests’ experiences by providing timely and pleasant service while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Takes orders and sells concessions, including soft drinks and various food items at a variety of events, primarily baseball games.
- Prepares food items such as hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, ice cream, etc.
- Greeting guests in the most courteous and professional manner.
- Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner following the steps of service provided.
- Performs sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion. Enter sales into the point-of-sale device, receive tender from guests, and verify validity of charges.
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Relays relevant information to supervisor.
- Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized.
- Verify guest identification and monitor alcohol consumption.
- Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned.
