Position Overview
The Ontario Tower Buzzers are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our retail team for the Inaugural baseball season at ONT Field. Seasonal Team Store Associates play a key role in creating an exceptional fan experience by providing excellent service, maintaining store appearance, and assisting with all aspects of team store operations during games and special events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as a cashier during games and events, accurately processing sales, exchanges, refunds, and voids.
- Provide outstanding guest service, responding promptly and professionally to questions and requests.
- Support merchandising functions including product display, inventory receiving, stocking, and signage setup.
- Assist with inventory control by monitoring transfers, damages, and guest returns to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain visual presentation standards by keeping merchandise organized, displays attractive, and the store clean and inviting.
- Assist with product orders and inventory levels as directed.
- Operate heat press customizing retail jerseys for purchase,
- Adhere to all company operational and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Basic math and computer skills required for cashier duties.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional at all times.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during games and events.
- Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Must be available for early mornings, long days, weekends, and late nights, including holidays and special events.
- May be required to work outdoors in warm weather conditions.
- Must maintain a valid email address and be able to access it regularly for scheduling and communication.
- Must adhere to all Ontario Tower Buzzers and ONT Field policies and standards.
Compensation
- This is a seasonal, part-time position with an hourly rate of $18/hour.
