About the Ontario Tower Buzzers
The Ontario Tower Buzzers are looking for high-energy, outgoing, and athletic individuals to join our game-day entertainment team as Hot Dog Race Mascot. This position is specifically focused on participating in the Buzzers’ in-game Hot Dog Race, while also assisting as part of the Promotional Crew during home games and select events.

Position Overview
Hot Dog Race Mascots are responsible for bringing energy, humor, and excitement to one of the Buzzers’ featured in-game entertainment moments. Individuals in this role must be fast, comfortable running in costume, and able to perform in front of large crowds.
During each assigned game, Hot Dog Race Performers will participate in the Hot Dog Race while wearing a hot dog suit/costume. After the race, performers will remain in costume for approximately 15-20 minutes to interact with fans, take photos, and help create a fun and memorable ballpark experience.

In addition to Hot Dog Race responsibilities, this role will also support the Promotional Crew with in-game entertainment, fan engagement, contests, giveaways, and other game-day activities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the in-game Hot Dog Race during Buzzers home games.
- Sprint safely and energetically while wearing a hot dog suit/costume.
- Remain in costume for approximately 15-20 minutes after the race to interact with fans.
- Take photos with fans and help create a fun, positive game-day experience.
- Engage and entertain fans in the stands and throughout the ballpark.
- Assist with in-game promotions, contests, giveaways, and fan activities as needed.
- Help select and coordinate contestants for in-game promotions when needed.
- Ensure promotional props, materials, costumes, and equipment are prepared prior to game start.
- Support the team mascot and other game-day entertainment elements as needed.
- Represent the Ontario Tower Buzzers professionally at all times.
- Interact and communicate with fans and staff positively and professionally.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Due to costume sizing and performer safety, candidates must be at least 5'6" to properly fit and perform in the hot dog suit/costume.
- Must be fast and able to run for the duration of the Hot Dog Race.
- Comfortable wearing a hot dog suit/costume while running and interacting with fans.
- Outgoing, energetic, and comfortable performing in front of large crowds.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Comfortable being on-camera or in front of crowds.
- Ability to stand, walk, run, and be active for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and scheduled home games.
- Must have a hands-on attitude, positive energy, great sense of humor, and outgoing personality.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
