Title: Fan Safety/Security Ambassador
Department: Gameday Operations
FLSA Status: Non-exempt/Seasonal
Part time March-September
Reports To: Director, Operations
Summary:
The Fan Safety/Security Ambassador will focus on fan safety and security during events at Werner Park including entry and exit. Ambassadors will also establish working relationships with customers and ballpark personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety measures for ingress/egress of Werner Park
- Patrol of property and observation of fan conduct
- Enforcement of rules and event policies at gates and within ballpark
- Provide de-escalation tactics when addressing concerns during events
- Work in conjunction with Ballpark Operations staff to ensure operation at gates is both effective and efficient
- Complete incident reports as necessary
- Assist with coverage of Surveillance as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Must be willing to submit to a background screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background screen
- Persons with law enforcement or military experience are encouraged to apply
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability and willingness to work at least 50% of events at Werner Park, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including; cold, wind, rain and heat
