Title: Fan Safety/Security Ambassador

FLSA Status: Non-exempt/Seasonal
                Part time March-September
Reports To: Director, Operations

 Summary:
The Fan Safety/Security Ambassador will focus on fan safety and security during events at Werner Park including entry and exit.  Ambassadors will also establish working relationships with customers and ballpark personnel.
 Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct safety measures for ingress/egress of Werner Park
  • Patrol of property and observation of fan conduct
  • Enforcement of rules and event policies at gates and within ballpark
  • Provide de-escalation tactics when addressing concerns during events
  • Work in conjunction with Ballpark Operations staff to ensure operation at gates is both effective and efficient
  • Complete incident reports as necessary
  • Assist with coverage of Surveillance as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Must be willing to submit to a background screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background screen
  • Persons with law enforcement or military experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; work with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability and willingness to work at least 50% of events at Werner Park, including  nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including; cold, wind, rain and heat
