Title: Amusements Attendant

Summary:
Amusements attendants are responsible for fan safety and experience in the following areas – Centris Family Fun Zone, MOJO (speed pitch), wiffleball field, basketball court and all other temporary amusement areas during Omaha Storm Chasers events.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of inflatables in the Centris Family Fun Zone
- Clean/prepare all amusement areas prior to gates opening for events, includes ensuring all safety checklists/procedures are followed
- Collect fees for participation as appropriate for area that you are assigned
- Monitor entry into areas that require a fee to enter – such as the Centris Family Fun Zone – ensuring that all participants have the appropriate wristband allowing entry
- Operate and ensure all safely policies are followed for the carousel in the Centris Family Fun Zone
- Monitor participant usage of inflatables/equipment to ensure safety and inclusion for all fans
- Engage and interact with fans participating in the amusement areas
- Provide accurate information to guests regarding ballpark events and ticketing policies
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Comfortable working with children (previous experience preferred)
- Must be willing to submit to a background screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background screen
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability and willingness to work at least 50% of events at Werner Park, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including; cold, wind, rain and heat
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
