 Summary:
Amusements attendants are responsible for fan safety and experience in the following areas – Centris Family Fun Zone, MOJO (speed pitch), wiffleball field, basketball court and all other temporary amusement areas during Omaha Storm Chasers events. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of inflatables in the Centris Family Fun Zone
  • Clean/prepare all amusement areas prior to gates opening for events, includes ensuring all safety checklists/procedures are followed
  • Collect fees for participation as appropriate for area that you are assigned
  • Monitor entry into areas that require a fee to enter – such as the Centris Family Fun Zone – ensuring that all participants have the appropriate wristband allowing entry
  • Operate and ensure all safely policies are followed for the carousel in the Centris Family Fun Zone
  • Monitor participant usage of inflatables/equipment to ensure safety and inclusion for all fans
  • Engage and interact with fans participating in the amusement areas
  • Provide accurate information to guests regarding ballpark events and ticketing policies
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Comfortable working with children (previous experience preferred)
  • Must be willing to submit to a background screen; any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background screen
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; work with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability and willingness to work at least 50% of events at Werner Park, including  nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including; cold, wind, rain and heat
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
