Organizational Overview:
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats are the Double-A affiliate of the 2025 American League Champion the Toronto Blue Jays. As New Hampshire's only professional sports team, the organization serves as a community champion for the City of Manchester and State of New Hampshire while delivering high-quality, family-friendly entertainment.
The Fisher Cats are seeking a hardworking, dependable, and self-driven individual who is motivated to make Delta Dental Stadium the most entertaining experience in the Eastern League and uphold its fan-voted reputation as "Best Ballpark."
Primary Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities for the Marketing & Promotions Assistant include but are not limited to:
Social Media
- Assist in strategy to increase, and enhance fan engagement and ticket sales amongst our followers and greater community.
- Create content for social media channels including Facebook and Instagram, TikTok, and X.
- Engage social media users to develop brand personality and the Fisher Cats fan experience.
- Monitor conversations online and address questions with appropriate staff.
- Assist with growing overall social media presence via development of new media, campaigns or strategies.
- Collect statistics on social media accounts and analyze to establish trends.
- Assist with managing team website and social media graphics, and updates as necessary. (Adobe skills are a plus)
- Provide live, game updates via social media.
- Contribute to the execution of Fisher Cats marketing plan by creating, proofing, submitting and confirming ad placements.
- Be able to speak in a public setting in an energetic and professional manner.
- Basic camera skills (videography skills are a plus).
Community Relations
- Interact with players, fans, and partners in a professional manner.
- Coordinate activities and promotions for theme days/nights with group sales representative assigned to theme.
- Process and reply to general fan mail, emails, and direct messages.
- Game duties include assisting with pre-game ceremonies, on-field activities and coordinating entertainment acts.
- Oversee and participate in pocket schedule distribution when scheduled by Marketing Manager.
- Assist Creative Services Team in creating flyers, Videoboard elements, Web graphics and mockups for corporate clients.
Experience/Attributes Required:
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Lightroom).
- The ability to work nights and weekends during April – September.
- Maintain professional and friendly interaction with players, fans, and corporate partners.
- A self-starter who is trustworthy, responsible, and reliable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Manage time and orchestrate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to maintain self-confidence and high esteem in tasks such as feedback sessions, cold calling and prospecting.
