Position Summary
The Fisher Cats are seeking a hardworking, dependable, and self-motivated individual to assist in making Delta Dental Stadium’s broadcast one of the most entertaining in the Eastern League. This seasonal role supports the Manager of Broadcasting & Media Relations with a range of tasks related to game broadcasts, media operations, and team communications—both at home and on the road.

Job Title: Broadcasting & Media Relations Assistant
Location: Delta Dental Stadium – Manchester, NH
Position Type: Part-Time, Seasonal (Late March – Mid-September)
Pay Rate: $15/hour

Key Responsibilities – Assist in the Following:
Media Relations
• Coordinating media interview requests for players, coaches, and staff.
• Write and distribute accurate daily game notes for visiting broadcasters/media.
• Assist in scripting/producing radio ads.
• Creating daily materials (game notes/stat packs/rosters) to distribute around park.
• Brainstorming content for website/social channels
• Manage media credentials and support attending media members on game days.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the press box.
Broadcasting
• Host pregame/postgame radio shows for select games.
• Conduct live, on-field postgame interviews.
• Provide play-by-play commentary for three to four innings during select home and potentially road games. Rotate rolls of PxP/color roles.
• Maintain and organize the broadcast media library on streaming laptop.
• Edit and upload audio assets (rejoiners/ads) for broadcasts and remove old ones.
Press Box Operations
• Learn and operate the Game Day/Datacasting system.
• Assist the official scorer with pitch-by-pitch data, game tracking, and box scores.
• Operate the pitch clock and scoreboard as needed.
Marketing Support
• Working with other assistants of the front office in the creation and execution of fresh content.
• Help design and distribute graphics for social media/video board as needed.

Required Qualifications
• Prior broadcast experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic proficiency in audio/video editing and graphic design.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must secure personal housing in or near Manchester, NH.
