Job Title: Senior Director of Sales – Minor League Baseball
Compensation: Base- $90,000-$95,000 w/ significant commission and bonus opportunities

About Us:

The Inland Empire 66ers baseball team are a minor league affiliate of the Anaheim Angels, based in San Bernardino, CA and owned by Diamond Baseball Holdings.  The 66ers are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for fans, sponsors, and partners. As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Director of Sales to join our team and play a key role in driving revenue growth and shaping the future of our sales initiatives. The job will require the candidate to work a non-traditional schedule during the Spring and Summer. The candidate must be able to work nights and weekends regularly.

Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
2. Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies, partnerships, and innovative sponsorship opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling and customized sponsorship packages for clients.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential sponsors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
5. Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
6. Budget Management:
- Collaborate with the Assistant and General manager to develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring revenue targets are met and expenses are controlled.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
- Implement effective sales tracking and reporting systems to monitor performance against targets.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales metrics, key performance indicators, and overall sales strategy effectiveness.

Qualifications:
- Ability to work nights and weekends
-Sponsorship sales experience a must
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or experience equivalent)
- Proven track record of success in senior sales roles, within the sports or entertainment industry preferred
- Strong understanding of sponsorship sales, marketing, and promotional strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience managing and mentoring a high-performing sales team.
