Position: Seasonal Stadium Operations Staff
Reports to: Director of Stadium Operations
Pay Rate: $16-$18/hour (Based on experience)
The Seasonal Stadium Operations Staff position is a part-time/seasonal game day position with the Hudson Valley Renegades, High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. The Stadium Operations Staff are responsible for various tasks and jobs in and around Heritage Financial Park before, during, and after our games and non-gameday events, such as concerts, festivals, camps, etc.
These roles include, but are not limited to:
· Gameday Crew
· Pregame Crew
· Parking Crew
· Porter Crew
Seasonal Stadium Operations Staff will be assigned to various crews as needed by the Director of Stadium Operations.
This position will begin in mid to late March and will end around mid-September.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with maintenance, upkeep, and organization within the stadium.
· Assist the Director of Stadium Operations with various operations projects around the stadium.
· Perform various operations tasks before games and events, such as cleaning the seating bowl and concourse, hosing down various areas of the ballpark, setting up event areas, and other tasks assigned by the Director of Stadium Operations.
· Perform various operations tasks during games and events, such as emptying trash cans, cleaning and restocking bathrooms, picking up trash, mopping spills, and wiping surfaces.
· Assist with parking lot management, such as working ticket booths, directing traffic, and assisting fans with parking information.
· Maintain all areas of the stadium, such as the concourse, seating bowl, staff areas, and parking lot.
· Assist with post-event cleanup duties.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Ability to perform general labor including lifting heavy objects (up to 50lbs.), bending, and walking and standing for long periods of time.
· Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, cold weather, rain, snow, etc.
· Must be self-motivated and have excellent organizational skills.
· Must be flexible with working mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays including in an outdoor stadium environment from March to September.
· Must have reliable transportation to and from the stadium.
· Proven history of job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
· Positive attitude and ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
