The Hudson Valley Renegades, High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, deliver top-tier baseball and community-focused entertainment at Heritage Financial Park. Position Overview:
The Hudson Valley Renegades are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and highly organized Account Executive, Group Sales & Community Relations to join our front office team. This hybrid role is ideal for a candidate looking to build a career in sports by gaining hands-on experience in both revenue generation and community engagement.
 
The individual in this role will be responsible for driving group ticket sales revenue while also coordinating community relations initiatives, grassroots outreach, and charitable programming. This person will serve as a key ambassador of the Renegades brand in the community and will help strengthen the organization’s connection with local schools, nonprofits, businesses, and fans.
 
The ideal candidate is motivated by both relationship-building and revenue generation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow within Minor League Baseball.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
·       Group Sales / Ticket Sales
o   Generate new group sales revenue through outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, and community outreach 
o   Sell group outings, hospitality packages, fundraising programs, and other ticket-related products 
o   Renew and service existing group and hospitality accounts 
o   Conduct stadium tours, sales presentations, and client meetings to drive new business 
o   Meet and/or exceed individual sales goals and activity metrics 
o   Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions within CRM/ticketing systems 
o   Work collaboratively with ticket sales and marketing teams to develop creative group sales initiatives and theme night opportunities 
·       Community Relations / Community Engagement
o   Coordinate and execute the team’s community relations programs and grassroots outreach initiatives 
o   Serve as team representative at community appearances, nonprofit events, school programs, and local networking functions 
o   Manage incoming donation and appearance requests, including ticket donations and mascot/player appearance requests 
o   Coordinate player/staff appearances in collaboration with Baseball Operations and applicable league/CBA guidelines 
o   Assist in execution of community-focused game day programs, including nonprofit partnerships, fundraising initiatives, and awareness nights 
o   Build and maintain relationships with local schools, nonprofits, and community organizations 
o   Track and report community engagement efforts, including volunteer hours, donations, and program participation 
o   Assist in planning and execution of ballpark tours, charitable events, and offseason community programming 
·       General Responsibilities
o   Represent the Hudson Valley Renegades and DBH with professionalism both in and outside the ballpark 
o   Support game day operations and assist other departments as needed 
o   Contribute positively to department and organizational culture 
o   Perform other duties as assigned 
 
Qualifications:
·       Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred 
·       1+ year of sales, customer service, internship, or related experience preferred 
·       Strong verbal and written communication skills 
·       Comfortable with outbound sales efforts and relationship-building 
·       Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities 
·       Self-starter with strong work ethic and desire to grow in the sports industry 
·       Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays 
·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ticketing platforms preferred 
·       Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for business purposes
