About the Harrisburg Senators:
The Harrisburg Senators, Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, play at FNB Field on City Island in Pennsylvania’s capital city. The Senators provide affordable family entertainment and exciting Minor League Baseball, while remaining deeply committed to community involvement and fan engagement. The Senators are a proud member Club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). Formed in 2021, DBH supports, promotes, and enhances Minor League Baseball through professional management, best practices, innovation, and investment. DBH oversees 45+ clubs across the country, working to strengthen fan connections, invest in communities, and grow the game of baseball at the grassroots level.
Position Overview:
The Harrisburg Senators are seeking a highly motivated and creative Video Production Associate to join our team for the upcoming season. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both in-game entertainment and digital content creation, while supporting the overall fan experience at the ballpark. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and attention to detail to help enhance the Senators’ game-day atmosphere and digital presence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Video Production:
- Assist with filming, editing, and producing video content for in-game presentation, social media, and marketing campaigns
- Create highlight reels, promotional videos, and engaging fan features
- Operate cameras, video boards, and related production equipment during games
- Support the production team in managing video archives and maintaining equipment
General Responsibilities:
- Represent the Senators in a professional manner both in the ballpark and the community
- Support the marketing and promotions team with additional projects as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with fans, partners, and staff
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Video Production or similar
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
- Strong creative and storytelling skills with attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, live-event environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season
Internship Details
- Seasonal internship (early January – September)
- Compensation: $1,200/month, paid hourly
- Based at FNB Field in Harrisburg, PA
- Must be available for all Senators’ home games and select non-game day events
