Reports To: Coordinator, Field Operations
Hours of Work: This is a part-time, seasonal position. Hours will vary based on the game and event schedule and will include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be available to work all home games and assist before, during, and after events.

Position Overview:
The Field Operations Crew Member will assist with all aspects of field preparation, maintenance, and game day execution. This includes preparing the playing surface, supporting batting practice, assisting with tarp pulls, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the field and equipment areas. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working outdoors in a physically active, team-oriented environment.
Essential Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
- Field Preparation & Maintenance
- Assist with setup and breakdown of batting practice.
- Prepare the playing surface for games, including lining, dragging, and mound/plate care.
- Perform post-game field repairs to maintain field quality and safety.
- Game Day Operations
- Assist with in-game responsibilities, including tarp pulls and weather-related field protection.
- Support game day readiness of the field and surrounding areas.
- Equipment & Facility Maintenance
- Clean and maintain field equipment, tools, and work areas.
- Assist with post-event cleanup and general upkeep of the stadium playing surface and facilities.
- Team & Organizational Support
- Maintain a professional attitude and represent the organization positively.
- Work collaboratively with the Field Operations team and other departments as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED, or currently pursuing.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and manual tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in field maintenance, landscaping, or sports turf management.
- Experience operating small equipment or machinery.
- General knowledge of baseball field maintenance practices.
Work Environment:
This position operates primarily in an outdoor stadium environment. Employees will work in a high-activity setting with exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain. The role involves working in and around large crowds during games and events.
Physical Demands:
This is a physically active role that requires standing, walking, lifting, and manual labor for extended periods. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and assist with physically demanding tasks such as tarp pulls.
