Job Title: Seasonal Grounds Crew, Charlotte Knights Baseball

Job Description: The Charlotte Knights, AAA affiliate of the Chicago White Sox are seeking qualified and motivated applicants for their 2026 Grounds Crew. Employment runs from March 15, 2026, through September 30, 2026.  Applicants must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, work nights and weekends, and potentially work in adverse weather conditions.  

 

Duties for this position include assisting the Turf Management Department with game setup and field maintenance duties associated with professional baseball for Charlotte Knights home games, the ACC Tournament, and other large scale baseball and non-baseball events during the 2026 season.  This position is ideal for those currently enrolled in a turf program or interested in working on a professional baseball grounds crew.  

 

Applicants should have general knowledge of how to work with hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and small power tools to include backpack blowers, edgers, power washers, etc. 

 

The position allows for flexible work hours and provides uniform, paid parking, meals and teams store discounts.

 

Both daytime and evening shifts are available.

 

Compensation is paid hourly.
