CHARLOTTE KNIGHTS OVERVIEW
The Charlotte Knights, Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, are gearing up for the 2026 season. Since opening Truist Field in the city's booming Uptown in what has been recognized as the “Best Minor League Ballpark” in the country, the Knights have led Minor League Baseball in attendance four times and are among the leaders in overall revenue generation. The Knights organization is looking for a seasonal associate to join our front office team and help take our success to another level. Situated in the 15th largest city and one of the fastest growing markets in the United States, the opportunity for organizational and personal growth is substantial.
General
· Staff community events as representation of the Charlotte Knights/Charlotte Knights Charities (ex. Golf Classic, Yoga, Easter Egg Hunt, Week of Giving, etc.)
· Maintain accurate autographed memorabilia inventory
· Assist in the fulfillment of donation requests
· Support Golf Classic and Mystery Ball donation outreach efforts, including donation pickups
· Assist in the reviewing and selection of scholarships and other programs
· Plan scholarship surprise logistics for Atrium, PNG, and COPA scholarship recipients
· Complete general office tasks such as data entry, print and mail projects (as needed)
· Conduct research projects/gather information for future initiatives, programs or theme nights
· Contribute creativity/input to community and promotional theme night related events, programs and projects
· Front desk coverage as needed; Greet guests professionally in person and over the phone
· Book and conduct seasonal ballpark tours on off weeks
· Help with organization of Promotions closet
Gameday
· Aid the overseeing and execution of promotional contests
· Assist with scheduled National Anthems and Community Corners
· Help facilitate community relations-related theme night execution (ex: Pink Knights, Vs. Cancer)
· Serve as a jersey auction liaison to fans by staffing the auction table on designated game nights.
· Assist with concourse set up (player autographs, bands, promotional vendors, tabling etc.)
· Staff the gates to hand out giveaways, promotional items and programs (as needed)
· Help distribute programs and any other nightly entrance and/or exit marketing materials
· Help putting out promotional giveaways and items as needed
· Assist in putting together Birthday Packages for any booked birthdays that game (as needed)
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Ability to work from March-September, must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Specific hours will vary depending on the Charlotte Knights home schedule, but associates will work 40 hours per week
· Ability to work all 75 home games
· Ideal applicants for this position should have a creative, energetic and outgoing personality with the ability to motivate others
· Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Must be punctual and possess good time management
· Must be willing to work outside for extended periods of time
· Must be able to walk stairs, the concourse, and lift objects up to 50 lbs
· A clean driving record is required to be considered for this position
Organizational Experience:
It is heavily encouraged for Associates to shadow different departments and complete different tasks as assigned.
