Position Overview
The Charlotte Knights are seeking a reliable, hardworking Bat Boy for the 2026 season. This seasonal position plays a key role in daily game operations by supporting players, coaches, and clubhouse staff before, during, and after games. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, and passionate about baseball, with the ability to work long hours occasionally in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve and organize bats, helmets, and equipment during games
- Assist with on-field and dugout operations as needed
- Support clubhouse staff with pre-game and post-game duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment areas
- Follow all team, league, and safety protocols
- Represent the Charlotte Knights in a professional and respectful manner
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work longer shifts occasionally, including late nights
- Availability for night games is required
- Must be able to work weekends
- Ability to work outdoors in hot and varying weather conditions
- Strong passion for baseball (preferred but not required)
- Prior experience in sports, team operations, or similar roles (preferred but not required)
