Position Summary
The Tri-City Chili Peppers are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fryer Cook to join our Food & Beverage team for the 2026 season. This role is responsible for preparing fried menu items quickly and safely while maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards during games and events at Shepherd Stadium.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fried menu items according to recipes, cook times, and portion standards
- Operate fryer equipment safely and monitor oil quality, cook times, and temperatures
- Maintain product consistency and speed during busy service periods
- Hold, package, and stage products for service while following food safety standards
- Stock station supplies and maintain readiness before and during events
- Filter, clean, and maintain fryer stations as directed
- Support concession and kitchen teams with opening, closing, and other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Previous fryer, kitchen, concession, or food service experience preferred
- Ability to safely work around hot oil, hot equipment, and fast-paced service demands
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation procedures preferred
- Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in hot conditions
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and scheduled game days is required
