The trail-blazing 2025 Cosmic Takeover Tour completely sold out in 7 cities and the 2026 Cosmic Takeover Tour will grow to 30 locations. The glowing phenomenon has been featured onThe Today Show, ABC News, Sports Illustrated, MLB Network, and many more. Cosmic Baseball turns America’s favorite pastime into an all-immersive, glow-in-the-dark experience. This electrifying spectacle is part baseball, part neon-fueled party, and 100% unforgettable.

The experience combines baseball, special effects, lasers, reactive uniforms and equipment, fan merchandise and constant music. A pre-game block party and post-game celebration are a part of the game and party. The DJ plays an important role as a member of the entertainment team and must work collaboratively with other team members to create and implement a seamless fan experience.

Responsibilities include:
  • Working with the entertainment team to create the game day script
  • Working with players to create impactful entrances with music
  • Reacting to the crowd to provide timely and accurate musical and sound reactions
  • Building hype through music to engage the crowd
  • Being able to speak on a mic to engage large crowds
  • Setting up and testing equipment prior to the game day experiences
  • Updating play lists to capture current relevant music
  • Being a part of social media content and marketing as need be

The 2026 Cosmic Takeover Tour will be most every weekend from mid-March through mid-October. Travel will likely be Thursday to the host site and Sunday as a return home. Candidates are expected to reside in the Richmond VA area so as to be available for practices and rehearsals. Each tour stop location will include at least 2 sold out games.

Compensation
  • Salary Range: $40,000-$45,000/year
  • Tour: The organization will cover flight, ground transportation, lodging and food per diem for staff that travel to tour locations.
  • Healthcare optional plan

When not on tour, the position will work with the entertainment team to update the entertainment experience, research new music acts and trends that could be included in the cosmic experience, create content for social media platforms, and more.
