Position Summary
The Tri-City Chili Peppers are seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Bartender Cashiers to join our Food & Beverage team for the 2026 season. This role is responsible for serving beer and other approved beverages, processing guest transactions accurately, verifying age for alcohol sales, and delivering a fast, positive fan experience at Shepherd Stadium.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, efficient customer service
- Accurately process cashless transactions through the point-of-sale system
- Serve beer and other approved alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policy and Virginia ABC guidelines
- Check IDs and verify guest age before completing alcohol sales
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bartender cashier station
- Monitor product levels and communicate outages or guest concerns to supervisors promptly
- Follow all POS, alcohol service, food safety, and company service standards
- Assist with stand setup, cleaning, and breakdown after events
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve and sell alcohol
- Previous bartender, cashier, concessions, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and handling high-volume guest interaction
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods in a busy environment
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and scheduled game days is required
