The Tri-City Chili Peppers are looking for eager team members for their 2026 Summer Baseball Season for the role of Trackman Operator.
The Chili Peppers are the HOTTEST team in the Coastal Plain League, a summer wood-bat baseball league with teams in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. As the innovators of Cosmic Baseball, our team plays mid-May through early August with over 35+ home games at Shepherd Stadium in Colonial Heights, VA. We employ a small full-time staff so part-time seasonal employees and interns will perform integral duties and gain valuable professional experience and knowledge.
This unique position will blend analytics, marketing, and operations as you carry out responsibilities on both game days and non-game days. You will be the team expert in operating TrackMan to gather analytical information regarding player performance and utilizing that information to promote player performance through marketing and social media channels.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Developing a working knowledge of TrackMan software and equipment
- Tracking analytics of players performances on game days
- Utilizing analytical information to create marketing and social media content in order to promote players
- Assisting with set up of the stadium on game days and cleaning of the stadium after each game
- Keeping an accurate inventory of all TrackMan equipment and ensuring it is in working order
- Communicating with CPL and Chili Peppers staff regarding TrackMan issues
The position starts May 14th and will end by August 10th.

- Able to mutli-task
- Some experience with marketing and/or social media content creation is helpful
This is a paid position. The intern receives $50 each CPL game worked.
