Merchandise Internship – Morehead City Marlins (and their Ridiculously Famous Alter Egos)
Location: Morehead City, NC – Home of sunshine, the beach, baseball, and the most talked-about merch table in America.
Are you ready to dive? Literally and figuratively into the wild world of Marlins merch? Do you want to spend your summer surrounded by T-shirts, treasure-themed logos, Booty Divers mayhem, and fans who will absolutely ask you when the next drop is coming? If so, welcome aboard.
The Morehead City Marlins and our nationally viral alter-ego brands (yes, those ones… the ones your aunt probably texted you about) are looking for a fun, creative, organized, slightly-chaotic-in-a-good-way Merchandise Intern to help us keep the hype alive.
What You’ll Do (a.k.a. Your Daily Dive Log):
Manage Inventory
Count boxes, stack boxes, open boxes, move boxes, and occasionally fight boxes. Keep our merch store organized so fans get exactly what they ordered… and not a size-small Booty Divers tee when they wanted a 2XL Marlins jersey.
Help Create New Apparel
Work with the team on new designs, brainstorm wild ideas, and help birth the next iconic look that ends up going viral on TikTok, ESPN, or your group chat. If you’ve ever said, “This should be on a shirt”… congratulations, you’re our people.
Ship Packages Like a Legend
Prepare, pack, and ship orders to fans all over the country—because our merch travels farther than some MLB teams. You’ll become best friends with tape guns, label printers, and customers who cry tears of joy when their gear arrives.
Marketing & Mayhem
Assist with merch posts, social media content, promo ideas, giveaways, and anything else that helps spread the Marlins/Booty Divers gospel across the land. Creativity encouraged. Mild chaos tolerated.
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone organized enough to keep inventory straight…
and fun enough to help name our next alter-ego brand. - Someone who loves sports, design, memes, or all of the above.
- Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a team that has the energy of a full throttled Motorboater.
- Someone who isn’t afraid to laugh, experiment, and think bigger (and weirder).
