The Morehead City Marlins are looking for a Data Analytics Intern who loves baseball, lives for data, and gets excited when a spray chart tells a story. This internship puts you right in the middle of baseball operations, working hands-on with cutting-edge technology like TrackMan and Synergy while supporting coaches, players, and the front office with meaningful insights.

What You’ll Do
- Operate and manage TrackMan and Synergy systems during games and practices
- Collect, organize, and distribute baseball data including:
- Spray charts
- Exit velocities & pitch metrics
- Hitting and pitching trends
- Provide clear, usable reports to the Baseball Operations and Coaching Staff
- Assist with post-game data breakdowns and scouting support
- Help turn raw numbers into actionable baseball insight (the fun part)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in baseball analytics, sabermetrics, or player development
- Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and technology
- Ability to explain data in a simple, baseball-friendly way
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable on game days
- Willingness to learn and ask questions (we expect that!)
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- TrackMan, Synergy, Rapsodo, or similar systems
- Data visualization, charts, or basic coding
- College baseball, coaching, or analytics coursework
