Job Description:
The Lexington County Blowfish are seeking a highly motivated ticket sales coordinator for the Spring 2026 semester. The intern will work on ticket sales efforts through renewals and new memberships during the semester. Additionally, our ticket sales intern will receive extensive training for outbound and inbound calls for ticket packages, as well as hands-on experience in ticket operations and customer service.
Responsibilities Include:
- Contacting past and new ticket sales clients to confirm or develop interest for the upcoming season with regards to season ticket memberships, mini plans, group outings or hospitality nights
- Manage ticket information in the ticketing system and keep records current and accurate using our CRM
- Handling incoming calls
- Providing excellent customer service
- Managing the front office desk during office hours
- Prospect for new ticket members through segmented call lists
- Assist with events hosted by the Blowfish during the Spring semester, including the 12th Annual Lexington County Chili Cookoff, the 11th Annual Shamrock Parade, college baseball games at the stadium and monthly community luncheons and networking sessions
- Work together with the Blowfish front office staff on social media content during the semester
- Assist front office staff with planning of upcoming 2026 summer season

Please note: Stadium work is part of the internship. This could include tasks such as hanging signs, cleaning restrooms, bagging ice, sweeping and mopping indoor facilities and laundry duties.
Who are we looking for?
The Blowfish are seeking a college student who lives in the Midlands of South Carolina and attends a local college or university. Interns are required to routinely travel to Lexington County Baseball Stadium. It is highly preferred that students are able to receive course credit from their college or university for this internship.
What are the time requirements?
As a Blowfish spring intern, you would work normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.) in addition to any weekend events, such as those listed above during the duration of the semester.
Who are the Blowfish?
Located in Lexington, South Carolina, the Lexington County Blowfish are a summer collegiate baseball team, entering the organization’s 21st season overall. The Blowfish are a two-time Coastal Plain League Petitt Cup champion, including during the 2023 season. The organization also has been voted CPL Organization of the Year four times, including in 2022 and ‘23.
