Overview
The Holly Springs Salamanders are seeking an energetic, musically savvy individual to join our Game Day Production team as a Game Day Music Operator for the 2026 season. In this role, you'll serve as the heartbeat of the ballpark experience—selecting and operating music, sound effects, and announcements that energize fans and enhance the excitement of game day. You'll play a critical role in creating an unforgettable atmosphere at Ting Stadium. The ideal candidate has live event audio experience, a strong musical ear, and the ability to think on their feet in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate sound equipment and software to play music, sound effects, and pre-recorded announcements during games and events.
- Select and cue music for various game situations, including pre-game, player walk-up songs, between innings, home runs, and promotional breaks.
- Work closely with the game day production team to ensure seamless audio integration with video and in-game promotions.
- Monitor audio levels and quality throughout the event to provide a clear and engaging fan experience.
- Perform pre-game equipment checks and post-game shutdown procedures.
- Maintain an organized music library and assist with updating playlists as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating audio equipment and sound mixing software in a live event setting.
- Strong knowledge of various music genres and the ability to select music that energizes and entertains a diverse audience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a game day production team.
- Ability to think quickly and react to dynamic game situations.
Compensation
$75/game
