The Yard Gnomes are entering year three of the organization and have exciting plans!
About The Internship
The Greenville Yard Gnomes are looking for motivated and dedicated trainees looking to begin or continue their careers in the sports industry. The trainee program is open to college students and recent college graduates. Trainee’s will be required to work all home games and some non-game day events and office requirements. This program is designed to showcase behind-the-scenes of working for a sports organization.
Ticket Sales & Corporate Partnership Internship
Timeline: May 6th – August 9th
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize Ticketmaster to sell tickets for games and events, as well as full-season plans, partial season plans, mini plans, and group outings
- Keep organized by utilizing the CRM system to track calls, emails, and other communications.
- Pitch ticket packages via in-stadium tours, outside appointments, and phone prospecting
- Provide excellent customer service over the phone and in-person.
- Organize Will Call tickets prior to gates opening.
- Assist with execution of corporate partnership elements.
- Game night responsibilities, including but not limited to, answering the incoming sales line, assisting with sales initiatives, working the will call table, and/or prospecting clients at the ballpark.
- Other duties as assigned.
