Open interviews will be conducted during the Job Fair.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up/break down batting practice equipment
- Prepare & maintain field at Virginia Credit Union Stadium (drag, water, groom infield)
- Maintain pitcher's mound/home plate before and after games
- Handle field tarp placement, covering, and removal as needed
- Perform in-game field repairs and adjustments
- Keep equipment, tools, and workspaces clean and organized
- Assist with other field maintenance projects
- Work cooperatively with grounds crew and team staff
Required Qualifications
- Team-oriented, dependable, and positive attitude
- Able to follow instructions, ask questions when needed, and work independently
- Strong professional communication skills
- Physically capable of demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
Physical Demands
- Very physical role: constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting
- Frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs
Work Conditions
- Almost entirely outdoors in all weather (heat, cold, rain, sun, humidity)
- Irregular, non-traditional hours: late nights, weekends, holidays
- Flexible availability for games, practices, and weather-related needs
