Position Overview: The Assistant, Stadium Operations will work to help ensure general maintenance, upkeep and day-to-day operations of Virginia Credit Union Stadium. Stadium Operations provides maintenance, clean-up, general ballpark operations, parking, and clubhouse operations for Virginia Credit Union Stadium. 


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee stadium maintenance and operations for Virginia Credit Union Stadium
  • Work with all stadium contractors (plumbing, electrical, painters, cleaners etc) to maintain quality control of stadium maintenance and cleaning
  • Assist in the preparation of each event held at 
  • Oversee daily cleaning of the stadium concourse and high traffic areas
  • Help with receiving shipments and organizing all storage areas while maintaining materials inventory
  • Assist sales teams with putting up sponsorship banners, and signs
  • Oversee the recruiting, hiring, and training of game day staff
  • Developing staff schedules, organizing daily, weekly work for staff
  • Assist grounds crew as needed
  • Ability to lift and move large items such as tables, chairs, and other equipment
  • Have a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and a passion to be successful in the sports industry
  • Possess a team-oriented attitude, relationship building and professional demeanor 
  • Provide unsurpassed external and internal customer service year round
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience in building maintenance, janitorial service, stadium operations
  • Strong communication skills, strong event/entertainment background
  • Must be creative, detail oriented and be highly motivated and have a strong work ethic
  • Honesty and strong attention to detail, strong attention to stadium cleanliness
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high energy fast-paced environment, while skillfully blending efforts and requirements of multiple personnel
  • Be able to list at least 50lbs
  • Ability to work all Fredericksburg Nationals home games and events. 
  • Work schedule must be flexible – evenings, weekends and holidays required as needed
