Position Overview:
The Lynchburg Hillcats, proud 2025 Carolina League Champions and the Single-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, are seeking a creative and outgoing Mascot Performer to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who is a great dancer, enjoys putting a smile on people's faces, and like to have fun at work! As the face of our team, this individual will lead key initiatives, make good decisions, cultivate partnerships, entertain our fans, and play a pivotal role in shaping the Hillcats’ presence beyond the ballpark.

JOB DESCRIPTION 
  • Maintain the integrity of the Mascot 
  • Perform at Lynchburg Hillcats Home Games during the 2026 season (66 home games)
  • Appear and perform at community events throughout the offseason including school visits, festivals, and other promotional events
  • Sign autographs and take pictures with fans 
  • Working as a team with our staff to provide mid-inning entertainment for our fans 
  • Walk around the ballpark interacting with fans and clients 
  • Other responsibilities as assigned 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 
  • Flexible Scheduling, including the ability to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays (including July 4th) 
  • Moderate athletic fitness and ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Must be able to withstand the extreme weather conditions including heat, rain, cold 
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds 
  • Must be able to perform in restrictive outfits and impaired vision 
  • Ideal height for mascot performer would be 5’7-6’3 
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time 
  • Must be able to pass a background check 
  • Knowledge of trending dance moves a plus 
  • Prior Mascot Experience a plus but not required
