Team: Lynchburg Hillcats – 2025 Carolina League Champions

Position Overview:

The Lynchburg Hillcats, proud 2025 Carolina League Champions and the Single-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, are seeking a seasonal Facilities Coordinator to join our front office team for the 2026 season.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about ballpark safety and compliance, cleanliness, has an operational mindset, enjoys having a set schedule and checklist each gameday, and can assist with ballpark renovations and repairs. As a Facilities Coordinator, this individual will lead a small maintenance team each gameday, manage a facility that will be in the process of a $6 million renovation, ensure that the ballpark is stocked from bathrooms to concession stands for gamedays, keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and toiletries, and play a pivotal role in keeping the ballpark clean and safe for Hillcats fans. 

Key Responsibilities:
Facility Management:
  • Assist with repairs and offseason renovations such as our new team store and home plate Grab N’ Go. 
  • Develop a game day checklist to ensure stadium is stocked and ready for fans. 
  • Perform stadium shut down procedures at the end of each night. 
  • Place work orders with the City of Lynchburg maintenance staff for larger repair projects.
Leadership:
  • Hire, schedule, and manage a small custodial staff including an in-game custodian and a post-game cleaning crew. 
  • Develop a cleaning routine for the overnight cleaning crew. 
  • Manage and keep track of labor hours to stay within budget.
Event Planning:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure concourse table activations are set up and ready for clients. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Facility Management, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A self-starter mentality with a strong work ethic and genuine passion for facility management.
  • A coachable attitude with a desire to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as required during the season.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $12.77/hr
