Job Summary
The Hill City Howlers are seeking a highly motivated and hard working Line Cook/Kitchen Manager to lead our concessions kitchen. This part-time position is responsible for prepping and cooking meals to fulfill orders in the concessions stands. Responsibilities include cooking, preparing, and fulfilling orders throughout each game while complying with health code regulations.

This role is ideal for an experienced cook who is looking to pursue a career in culinary arts. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Culinary Production: Prepare, cook, and fulfill a high volume of orders.  Must have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced work environment.
  • Food Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and health-code-compliant kitchen, following safety protocols.
  • Teamwork: Must get along well with others and display excellent leadership while working alongside our cooks, concessions manager, food runners, and cashiers. 
  • Inventory & Reporting: Manage inventory and report low inventory to our Concessions Manager.
  • Average Work Day: Plan to work 6-8 hours each game day.  Must be available for all home games including holidays and weekends. Work is not needed while the team is on the road.  Position ends in September following the conclusion of the season.
Starting Pay
  • $15-$21/hr based on experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of cooking experience required.
  • Culinary Arts Degree is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be available for the entire season (April-September).
  • Must thrive in a fast paced work environment and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
