Currently, 7th Inning Stretch owns and operates the Stockton Ports, Single-A Affiliate of the Oakland A’s, in the California League, the Delmarva Shorebirds, Single-A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles and the Everett AquaSox, Single-A Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners in the Northwest League. The Delmarva Shorebirds play at Arthur W. Stadium Operations Manager
This position will work under and report to: General Manager and Assistant General Manager
Responsibilities:
- Operate the stadium’s energy management system.
- Develop and follow maintenance schedule of Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The maintenance schedule will include but not be limited to HVAC systems, elevators, electrical, roofing, plumbing, fire suppression, scoreboard, video board and all other building and facility needs.
- Hang and manage all stadium signage pieces, outfield billboards, repair seats, and cup holders.
- Maintain shop tools and supply inventory.
- Troubleshoot and fix any problems during events.
- Maintain log containing maintenance, servicing, invoices, purchase orders, correspondence and training for stadium equipment and property.
- Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned by management as needed.
Event Operations:
- Deploy and set up equipment for all production event orders of Delmarva Shorebirds games and stadium special events, parties, picnics, concerts and special events in all areas of the stadium.
- Oversee day time housekeeping staff and janitorial company ensuring that Delmarva Shorebirds Stadium is a clean and safe facility for fans and visitors.
- Oversee the game/ event parking operation for the stadium.
- Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned by management as needed.
Background: Successful candidate will have a minimum of one year experience with facility management. Individual must have strong planning and organization skills and be creative. Individual will be familiar with Microsoft Office. Individual must be energetic, enthusiastic and demonstrate an initiative in completing all tasks at hand. Individual must be able to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
Physical Requirements: Extended hours of work between the months of March to September. Candidate must have the ability to handle stress in a fast paced environment. Individual must have the capability to lift heavy objects.
COMPENSATION:
Full Time Salary Position ($40,000 - $45,000) - Based on experience. Health/Dental Insurance after first 60 days and 401K with company matching program.
