The Charleston RiverDogs, the Single-A Affiliate for the Tampa Bay Rays, are currently hiring for Part-Time Seasonal Staff for the 2025 Season.
Concession Stand Staff
Concession Stand Staff are responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages to customers at one of our unique and award winning food venues at Joe Riley Park. Staff will also be taking orders, operating a cash register, ensuring food quality, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards while providing friendly customer service.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Taking orders:
- Accurately taking customer orders for food and beverages.
- Food preparation:
- Preparing food items according to established procedures, including grilling, frying, or assembling pre-made components.
- Operating cash register:
- Handling and processing credit card payments. NO CASH!
- Inventory management:
- Stocking concession stand with food and beverage items, rotating stock to ensure freshness.
- Sanitation:
- Maintaining a clean work area, including wiping down counters, sweeping floors, and disposing of trash.
- Food safety compliance:
- Following proper food handling practices to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Customer service:
- Providing friendly and efficient service to customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Cleaning equipment:
- Washing dishes, cleaning cooking appliances, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the concession stand.
