Serga Club Kitchen Staff
Segra Club kitchen staff members are responsible for preparing food according to catering menus, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean kitchen environment, and working efficiently as part of a team to fulfill catering orders for various events and game day service.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
· Precisely measure and chop ingredients as per recipes.
· Cook various dishes according to catering menus, including grilling, sautéing, baking, and frying.
· Prepare special dietary options as needed.
· Ensure proper food handling and temperature control.
Plating and Presentation:
· Arrange food attractively on plates according to catering standards.
· Maintain consistency in portion sizes.
· Decorate plates with garnishes as required.
Kitchen Maintenance:
· Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces.
· Adhere to sanitation and hygiene guidelines.
· Properly store food items and ingredients.
Teamwork and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to meet catering deadlines.
· Communicate clearly with the catering manager regarding menu changes, special requests, and any issues.
· Follow instructions and work efficiently within a team environment.
Inventory Management:
· Monitor kitchen inventory levels and report shortages to the manager.
· Properly rotate stock to ensure freshness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Food handler certification a plus
