 Job Summary
In this role the employee will engage in various stadium operations duties on a daily basis. This will include manual work to repair and upkeep the stadium and venue and further engage in various administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, and seasonal staff hiring.  The right candidate for this role, will understand guest service, stadium upkeep and further what the baseball and event schedule require in a MILB venue. PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS AN ENTRY/MID LEVEL ROLE, REQUIRING MILB EXPERIENCE.
 
Essential Duties and Functions
  • Prepare stadium for every home game and all non-game events held.
  • Assist in the daily upkeep of the stadium and surrounding exterior areas of the stadium, further these duties are laborious in nature.
  • Cultivate and build upon existing relationships with service vendors.
  • Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, supervision, and relationship building with game day staff.
  • Organize and collaborate with the event's department on non-baseball events regarding staffing, and set up needs, and providing information for closing the event as it relates to stadium costs.
  • Assist in oversight of parking areas for events and games.
  • Assigned to the management of certain game-day departments during the season. 
  • Assist in non-game event management for all events including but not limited to; set-up, break down, cleaning, communication with client and vendors, acting as point of contact.
  • Work with punch lists daily and ensure all stadium operational needs are met.
 
Qualifications
  • Willingness to work the baseball schedule for all home games and participate in a schedule were non-baseball events are required.
  • Understanding of the mechanics of stadium operations, which includes venue upkeep and management of various repairs.
  • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to think quickly and decisively.
  • Willingness to work with different personality styles.
  • Strong computer skills inclusive of emails and correspondence, and knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time, and work in heat and rain elements.
  • Candidate must have MILB experience, working in a stadium operations role, and internship will be considered.

This position is a full-time position, paid at an hourly rate, using the fluctuating workweek. This means the role will pay a base salary for a guarantee of 40 hours a week, and any hours worked over 40 will be paid using the fluctuating workweek overtime calculation.
