Are you energetic, outgoing, and passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for fans? The Augusta GreenJackets, proud Single-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and fun-loving individuals to join our Mascot Team for the upcoming season!
This part-time, seasonal position offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of professional sports entertainment. You will play a vital role in assisting our beloved mascots — Auggie and T.D. the Rally Turtle — at SRP Park and various community events across the CSRA. As a key contributor to our high-energy Game Entertainment Team, you'll help hype up the crowd, interact with fans of all ages, and ensure every GreenJackets game is a memorable event. This role reports directly to the Community Relations Manager.
What You'll Do:
- Bring high energy and excitement to every GreenJackets home game and community event.
- Assist the mascots with in-game skits, fan interactions, sponsor activations, and special appearances.
- Support the successful setup and breakdown of props and materials for mascot performances.
- Engage actively with fans of all ages, ensuring positive and memorable experiences.
- Represent the Augusta GreenJackets brand with professionalism and enthusiasm, both in and out of costume.
- Contribute to making SRP Park one of the most fun and engaging places to be in Augusta all season long.
What We're Looking For:
- A high-energy personality with a positive, team-first attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Comfort performing under pressure and in front of large crowds, maintaining enthusiasm regardless of external factors.
- Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and all home games, often in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Physical ability to be on your feet for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and occasionally perform in a mascot costume which can be physically demanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for engaging with people and creating joy.
- Prior mascot performing or handling experience is a plus, but not required.
