Position Summary: 
This individual will play a vital role in the success of the Stockton Ports Stadium Operations and Corporate Sales Departments.  This person will assist in the day to day operations of the Stockton Ports including gamedays and non-gamedays. In addition to operations, this person will learn all other aspects of the Ports organization such as ticket sales, ticket operations, and marketing.  
 
Essential Functions
  • Responsible for stadium set up and tear down for all Ports home games and other special events. 
  • Maintain the cleanliness and general maintenance to ensure the facility is ready for all games and special events.
  • Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients.
  • Assist in the set up and operation of Special Events.
  • Assist in staffing and managing of gameday workers.
  • Oversee implementation and execution of in-game sponsor activations
  • Ensure in-game sponsor activations are captured for end-of-season proof of performance reviews
  • Plan and develop group ticket driven theme nights. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong desire to work in the sports industry and learn all aspects of a Minor League Baseball team. 
  • Working knowledge of special events operations, facility management, and event staffing. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. 
  • Outstanding attention to the details that impact the fan experience. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and associated products.  
  • Ability to work effectively on an individual basis and within a team framework.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written. 
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. 

*This experience can also count toward college credit in most instances if necessary.
