Overview
The Stockton Ports, the Single-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, are seeking highly motivated press box staff members for the 2024 season. Prior experience is preferred but not required. Positions range from sound operator, videoboard operator, switcher/replay operator, and camera operator.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Various control room roles (video board operator, camera operator, switcher operator, sound operator) 
  • Manage the In-House production switcher for stadium videoboard  
  • Manage stadium sounds to enhance gameday experience for fans
  • Manage videoboard controller for stadium production / in-game action 
  • Execution of game script in assigned role 
  • Operate camera throughout the game - assisting with shots for videoboard, in-between inning games, and highlights 
  • Direct and operate video switcher for in-house production
  • Assist in producing show elements 
  • Run graphic production elements of in-game production 
  • Archive, log, and maintain game footage for future use. 
  • Capture footage of:  
    • Game Action (Warmups, Intros, In-Game, Celebrations, etc.)  
    • Fans (Groups, Celebrations, etc.)  
    • Promotions (First Pitches, National Anthem Signers, 7th Inning Stretch, Performers, etc.)  
    • Mascot 
Qualifications: 
  • Ability to work all home games, including nights and weekends 
  • Knowledge of producing live events 
  • High-level problem solving capability 
  • Experience working in a live event environment preferred, with knowledge of baseball 
  • Experience with Daktronics products preferred
