The minor league, single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
Position Overview
This internship provides hands-on experience in Minor League Baseball game day operations and in-game entertainment. Interns will assist the Operations and Promotions teams in executing the on-field promotions, fan engagement activities, and stadium logistics that help create a fun and memorable experience for Quakes fans.
This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in careers in sports, event management, entertainment, or fan experience to gain real-world experience working in a professional sports environment.
Responsibilities
Stadium Operations
- Assist with game day setup and breakdown including signage, tables, promotional areas, and fan activation spaces
- Support ballpark operations throughout the game to ensure a smooth and organized event
- Assist with maintaining stadium cleanliness and presentation throughout the event
- Help ensure operational areas are organized and ready prior to gates opening
Promotions & In-Game Entertainment
- Assist with the execution of on-field promotions, contests, and fan engagement activities
- Help coordinate fan participants and stage promotional elements during the game
- Assist the Promotions Team with props, giveaways, and promotional materials
- Support mascot appearances and fan interaction moments
Fan Experience
- Interact with fans to help create a fun, welcoming, and energetic ballpark environment
- Assist with guest services needs and fan inquiries during games
- Support special group activations and VIP experiences when needed
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with community events and special ballpark events when scheduled
- Work collaboratively with departments including operations, promotions, marketing, and guest services
- Other duties as assigned by front office staff
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong interest in sports, event management, entertainment, or fan experience
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service or sports experience preferred but not required
