As the Project Manager, Creative Services, you will report to the Senior Director of Marketing, Kevin Jones, and oversee the flow and progress of all projects within the creative services department. In this role, you will manage project intake, scheduling, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure all deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard. You will work closely with the marketing and athletic communications teams to align expectations, support cross-departmental needs, and ensure all creative and event-related initiatives are executed smoothly and effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full lifecycle of creative projects, from intake and vetting through assignment, production, and final delivery.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to designers to maintain creative quality and consistency.
- Allocate resources and prioritize workload to ensure projects are completed on time and at a high standard.
- Oversee scheduling during event periods, ensuring media plans are executed smoothly and event coverage is completed as planned.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and potential risks.
- Develop and refine project management systems, tools, and documentation to improve team efficiency.
- Ensure brand standards are upheld across all creative assets and event-related content.
- Monitor workload capacity across the creative team and proactively adjust assignments to avoid bottlenecks.
- Support and execute miscellaneous creative projects as needed, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to evolving organizational priorities.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during production or event coverage, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in creative services, including at least 2 years in an art director, creative director, or similar leadership role.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to optimize processes, workflows, and team efficiency.
- Proven experience serving as a liaison between creative teams and cross-functional partners within an organization.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Wrike, Airtable).
- Strong understanding of creative production processes across design, photo/video, and digital channels.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, especially during event seasons.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate creative concepts into actionable tasks.
- A strong sense of ownership, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
REMOTE WORK POLICY
USA Baseball believes in fostering a flexible work environment that promotes work-life balance and enhances employee productivity.
USA Baseball employs a Remote Work Season from the Tuesday after Labor Day through approximately March 1 of the following year. During this time, employees are expected to be in the offices three days of the week, working remotely on a designated remote workday and on Fridays. Employees are expected to be in office Monday through Friday during the USA Baseball Season, which runs from March 1 through Labor Day.
