The Intern, Creative Services - Video will report to the Assistant Director of Creative Services. This position helps execute USA Baseball’s media plan and is responsible for capturing videography content for both social and long-form purposes as well as upholding the brand of our nation’s pastime for USA Baseball’s events and national team programs. The Intern, Creative Services - Video will work closely with the athletic communications and creative services team.

Through this single application, USA Baseball will hire multiple interns across the Creative Services department. Assignments will be determined based on each candidate’s skills, interests, and availability during the interview process.

Position Details:
  • Full-time hours (40+ hours/week)
  • May - August 2026 (flexible start and end dates based on assignment)
  • Possible domestic travel involved (all travel costs covered by USA Baseball)
  • On-Site
    • Based in Cary, NC or Peoria, AZ with access to a workstation during scheduled working hours

In This Role:
As an Intern, Baseball Operations, you will gain immersive experience in sports operations, logistics, and event management while supporting USA Baseball’s elite-level programming. You may:
  • Capture video content of games, national teams, and special events at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina and as assigned.
  • Create original and engaging content from existing USA Baseball videos and photos to promote national teams, events, and initiatives. 
  • Conduct interviews and engage with on-camera talent
  • Ensure consistent styling vision and to reflect our USA Baseball brand standards.
  • Serve as a primary media contact at all USA Baseball events and assist with game day operations.
  • Assist with other tasks as directed.
  • Assist all departments as needed for the organization.

  • You have proficiency in creative areas, including photography, sports videography, and graphic design.
  • You have proficiency in Adobe Creative Applications, including Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects or similar applications.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • You are comfortable with Canon DSLR or mirrorless camera systems.
  • You are flexible and adaptable, willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • You are in pursuit of or have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
  • You can successfully complete a background check prior to employment.
Preferred:
  • You have strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • You are passionate about baseball with an understanding of the amateur baseball landscape.
  • You are proficient in all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
